On July 5, the Rector of the University Sergei Khakhomov had a meeting with the students from the Czech Republic who came to the State University within the framework of the International Summer School of Russian Language ALBARUTHENIA.
To increase the level of Russian language proficiency, get acquainted with the culture and traditions of a foreign land, make new friends - each of the guests of our university pursues these goals within two weeks of interesting classes, excursions, competitions and creative programmes.
The first virtual tour of the State University for five students was conducted by the Rector of the University Sergey Khakhomov, who greeted the guests with a presentation about the university and introduced bright pages from the book of life of Belarusian students.
Another meeting was held at the Faculty of Philology with the head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Gomel, V.L. Michurin, who demonstrated excellent command of the Czech language, which surprised the participants of the Summer School.
After a virtual tour across the museums, laboratories and classrooms of the faculties the guests had their self-presentations, focusing on their goals and the expected results from traveling to our country.
