The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience
Year of foundation: 1948
Tasks: exchange of students. Second- and fifth-year students have an opportunity to pass practical training programme abroad in technical and natural science specialities, as well as in the sphere of tourism, hotel business, foreign languages. Mobility period – from 4 to 8 weeks.
Membership in the association: At present 85 countries are engaged in IAESTE, as well as the Republic of Belarus (since 2000 – an associate member, since 2013 – full member).
Management: Association National committee which coordinates the applicants selection process is created in each country participating in the IAESTE activities.
In 2014 within the framework of IAESTE programme a Master`s student from Zagreb University (Croatia) undertook an internship at the Faculty of Physics.
