Leading researcher of the Advanced Technologies Network Center of the University of Palermo

Giorgio Nasillo, a leading researcher of the Advanced Technologies Network Center of the University of Palermo (Italy) visited the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University on October 15, 2019. The visit was held within the course of the academic mobility program Erasmus+ and the project of the Central European Commission KEP 1206.007-18 Spectroscopic properties of sol-gel composite materials exhibiting persistence for the application as luminescent solar concentrators.

The academic mobility project between the University of Palermo and Francisk Skorina Gomel State University is focused on advancement of the established cooperation of our Universities and the Advanced Technologies Network Center (ATeN) by means of  exchange and analysis of the best foreign experience aiming at promotion of development of academic and scientific potential of the Universities. These issues were discussed during the meeting of Sergei Khakhomov, Rector of GSU, and doctor Nasillo.

Doctor Nasillo gave a seminar for the lecturers, faculty members, master’s degree and post-graduate student of the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies “ATeN Center – a milestone for research work and technological transfer” and delivered a lecture to the students of the Faculty “Electronic microscopy – a star gate to the nano-world”.
