The second graduation of the joint Belarusian-Russian magistracy took place at the Faculty of Physics and IT. Master's students Kirill Kopertekhov, Alexander Maevsky and Aleksey Shkal successfully defended their master's theses and received diplomas from the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the National Research University "MIET" (Moscow). The defense of diplomas at a Moscow university took place online because of the prevailing epidemiological situation. The good news is that the scores of our undergraduates have grown in comparison with the first graduation! The path to success was not easy. First, the students had to pass entrance exams for master's degrees at two universities - the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology.

Further, undergraduates were trained according to a comprehensive plan, which includes both magistracy disciplines in the specialty "Physics" and additional courses in plasma physics. Then they had to master a number of subjects provided by the Russian partners. Anastasia Zheleznyakova, the deputy director of the Institute of Advanced Materials and Technologies, Candidate of Technical Sciences, who oversees the joint master's program from the Russian side, provided enormous help to young people in this. At present, our students are also studying at the joint Belarusian-Russian magistracy. We advise future applicants, students and undergraduates of the Faculty of Physics and IT to take advantage of this unique and promising opportunity!
