On September 4, the photo exhibition " Homo Reading " began its work at the GSU. This exhibition is a continuation of the exhibition " Reading is not harmful!", organized by the Russian center of science and culture in Gomel. The opening day started with welcoming words from the Vice-rector for educational work Yuri Nikityuk. Yuri noted the importance of the exhibition in the cultural life of the University, and also shared interesting facts from the history of the University. An important part of the event was the performance of photo artists Vladimir Chistik and Vasily Grigorenko. In addition to these authors, the exhibition includes works by Anna Smirnova, Vladislav Gavrik, Galina Lasaeva, Valery Bogachev, Denis Knyazkov, Mikhail Guta, Galina Tsmyg, Ivan Polinenko, Viktor Karpov, Alexander Balenko, Ksenia Naumchik, Elena Kalykhan, Irina Karpenko, Dmitry Boykachev. Among the five dozen frames, you can find images of completely different people: from famous scientists to young students, from kids who have just mastered reading, to people of considerable age… Photo artists managed to capture the most subtle nuances of the characters ' mood, convey their deep emotional world. Anyone can enjoy the creative work of talented photographers and get a portion of inspiration until September 25.
