At the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University a solemn presentation of master's degrees took place. Teachers, representatives of the dean's office and departments gathered to congratulate the newly minted graduates on a significant event, and close and familiar people shared the joy of the event.

19 magistrates of the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy were awarded a master's degree by the decision of the state Examination Commission. All of them were dressed in traditional robes and four-cornered Confederate hats, giving the event a special solemnity and uniqueness.

Alexander Potrosov, senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy, addressed the participants of the event with warm words of greeting and congratulations. The head of the Department of Social and Pedagogical Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Tatjana Shatjuk addressed the magistrates with a kind parting word.

The most exciting moment is the farewell to the native university, the presentation of diplomas and the master's initiation ceremony. Here, special importance is attached to the tassel on the hat. Those who continue their studies wear it on the right side, and masters have earned the right to wear it on the left. The ceremony of tossing the brush is iconic and memorable. And after the Confederate hats flew into the air to the stormy applause of those present. Most of the newly minted masters are established specialists in their fields. But one thing unites them – they all remain graduates of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

By the way, the time of study in the master's program for part–time students is one and a half years, for full-time students - a year. The next recruitment will be held from June 25 to July 1. You can find further information about the possibilities of additional education on the university's website gsu.by.

Education is the best investment in your own future. We wish the masters self-improvement, success and fruitful work for the benefit of the Gomel region and the whole of Belarus.
