On February 23, a webinar “SAP practice in IBA group – short overview” for 2nd and 3rd year students took place at the Faculty of Mathematics and Programming Technologies. The webinar was conducted by a representative of the leading IT company of the Gomel region “IVA-Gomel-Park” - SAP business analyst Kirill Drobyshevskij.
Kirill Drobyshevskij told the students in detail about the importance of economic knowledge in the IT field, about the main directions of SAP ERP development. Issues related to the Hana DBMS, the ABAP programming language, were covered in detail. The speaker spoke in detail about the main SAP ERP modules related to various business processes, about the practice of developing ERP applications in the IBA Group company.
The representative of the IT company - the manager of personnel development Kirill Zhestjanikov told the students about the work in the company “IVA-Gomel-Park”, about the possibility of internships for students of IT specialties in the company.
Students took an active part in the webinar, asked the speakers questions related to both SAP ERP and possible employment in the company.
