On December 13, 2023, students from the People's Republic of China, studying in the field of Business Administration as part of an experimental project, familiarized themselves with one of the leading enterprises in the food industry in the region – OJSC "Gomel Distillery Radamir" in Gomel, Belarus. This was the first of a series of planned visits. The purpose of such excursions is to acquaint students from China with the industrial potential of Gomel and the Gomel region.
During the tour, the students learned about the history of the enterprise, which has been in operation for over 125 years, the technological process of producing alcoholic beverages, and the main partners who supply raw materials (Armenia, Georgia) and consume the final products (more than 20 countries worldwide). Special attention was given to the issues of collaboration with China – the market where the enterprise has already entered, and the potential for expanding cooperation is enormous.
During the tour, students saw tanks for storing spirits that were created over 100 years ago and are still in use due to their exceptional quality.
Representatives of the Gomel Distillery "Radamir" expressed hope that in the future, after obtaining their diplomas and starting their professional careers, the students would become business partners of the enterprise in the promising Chinese market. At the end of the tour, the students received gifts in the form of notebooks, pens, and promotional materials about the enterprise. We express our gratitude to the management of the enterprise for providing the opportunity to visit the Gomel Distillery "Radamir" and see the production process of the final product with their own eyes.
