The monograph "The Design of Chiral Metamaterials and Metasurfaces" was written by members of the Belarusian Physical Society - Deputy Director of the State Scientific and Production Association "Optics, Optoelectronics and Laser Technology" Igor Semchenko and Rector of the F. Skorina GSU Sergey Khakhomov in co-authorship with Chinese colleagues from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
The book comprehensively examines the properties of chiral electromagnetic metamaterials and metasurfaces - artificial structures that are primarily interesting for controlling the polarization of optical radiation - from theoretical and experimental points of view. The authors discuss methods for the theoretical description and design of structures with optimal parameters, and ways to create them for various frequency ranges. The monograph is aimed at specialists in optics, radiophysics, biophysics, and condensed matter physics.
