On April 4, 2024, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Word about the Word: Research by Young Scientists and Philologists” took place. The conference is held annually by Astrakhan State University named after V.N. Tatishchev. Strong scientific contacts have been established with the Russian language department of this university. Mutual participation in all ongoing scientific events is carried out annually.
This year, the Department of Russian, General and Slavic Linguistics of the F. Skorina State University became a co-organizer of the announced conference.
The head of the Department of Russian, General and Slavic Linguistics, Doctor of Philology, Professor E.V. Nichiporchik, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.
The honor of opening the plenary session of the conference was given to the 1st year master's student of our university O.E. Morozova. The work of seven sections was organized, in which students, undergraduates, and graduate students of leading universities in Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and Turkmenistan spoke. 95 young researchers took part in the conference.
