A delegation from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus, led by Ambassador Extraordinary Nazarkuly Shakulyev, visited Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The delegation included Myratkhan Achylov, First Secretary of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus; Maksat Elyasov, Attaché of the Embassy; and Abdurakhman Ovezov, an employee of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus.
During the visit, the guests met with Sergey Khakhomov, Rector of the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, and discussed maintaining friendly relations and prospects for further cooperation.
A thematic exhibition, reflecting the national cultures of Turkmenistan and Belarus, was displayed in the lobby of the first building. A cultural and educational event for Turkmen students was held in the university's assembly hall to introduce them to Turkmenistan's 2026 motto and to mark the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. The meeting with the Ambassador focused on current issues of student moral conduct, employment regulations, and legal provisions that must be observed during their stay in the country.
