June is the time for graduation: exquisite outfits, ringing laughter, happy faces ... The most ambitious and bright graduation party of the country took place on June 27 in Minsk. The most successful students of Belarus were invited to the Republican Ball of Graduates of Higher Education Institutions. The graduates of our university were among them. Before the start of the main celebrations, the participants of the ball, together with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Igor Karpenko, laid flowers at the stele “Minsk - Hero City”.

The competition was held by the research sector together with the trade union committee of students of our university. Anyone could participate in the competition: students, undergraduates, graduate students and young specialists. Of course, the most active participants were students and teachers of two faculties: mathematics and programming technologies; physics and information technology.

On June 18, the first meeting of the joint Belarusian-Tajik working group on cooperation in the field of science and technology was held in the format of a videoconference.

On June 17, the Gomel TV program "Good evening, Gomel!" took place. The theme of the TV program was "How to get into history?". It is no surprise that teachers of the Faculty of History of the F. Skorina State University took part in it. During the broadcast, the main milestones in the history of the university and the Faculty of History were identified. The participants of the program talked a lot about the present day of the Faculty of History. "Non-destructive multi-analytical methods of research of Old Believers' icons of the Vetka Museum" is an international project within the framework of the European Union program CEI (KEP) 1206.008-19. It is devoted to the study of icons stored in the Vetka Museum of Old Believers and Belarusian Traditions. F.G. Shklyarova. This project is being carried out at the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies of the GSU.

Today, Professor of the Department of Botany and Plant Physiology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Alexander Mikhailovich Dvornik celebrates his 70th anniversary. A scientist whose name is included in the encyclopedia of famous scientists of the world. Alexander Dvornik was born in Gomel into a family of civil servants, studied at secondary school No. 26. In 1972, he graduated from the physics department of Gomel State University and stayed to work at the department of theoretical physics. On the recommendation of the Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Associate Professor V.N.

This year, 6 young men and women came from the People's Republic of China as volunteers to teach Chinese.
