The opening ceremony of the Olympics for students of the Union State, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, was held on June 18 in the memorial complex “Brest Hero-Fortress”. Championship of the Republic of Belarus was held in Lida on January 13 – 15, 2019. About 170 sportsmen took part in the event and battled for the title of champion. Candidates for training and participation in the international contests will be chosen in accordance with the results of the Championship.
