On June 28, 2022, the IV International Correspondence Scientific and Practical Conference “VECTORS of PSYCHOLOGY: personal support in the modern socio-digital educational environment” started at the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy, which has already become traditional and marks the symbolic summing up of the research and methodological work of the outgoing academic year.

The conference is attended by scientists from Belarus, Russia, Moldova, and China.

A solemn ceremony of awarding certificates of completion of the preparatory department of the Institute of Additional Training to foreign graduates took place at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The coveted certificates were received by 13 young men and girls. Many foreign students of the preparatory department were awarded with commendatory certificates.

During their studies, international youth proved themselves in various fields: as scientific, creative, as well as athletic.

Rector of the University Sergei Khakhomov, senior lecturer of the Department of Radiophysics and Electronics Andrei Sereda take part in the XXVIII International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO-2022, which takes place in the Multidisciplinary cultural and sports complex “Minsk-Arena”.

On June 6, 2022, Minsk State Linguistic University hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the qualifying rounds of the XXI World Chinese Language Competition “Bridge of the Chinese Language” among students and the XV World Competition “Bridge of the Chinese Language”

Currently, foreign citizens from countries such as the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Syrian Arab Republic, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Guinea, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Yemen, the Kingdom of Morocco, the People's Republic of China study at the preparatory department of the Institute of Additional Training.

On June 2, the opening of the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Cross-border cooperation in the field of environmental safety and environmental protection” took place at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

On May 31, our university hosted the closing ceremony and awarding of the winners of the X International Olympiad of Students and the VIII Olympiad of Students on the basics of pedagogy and psychology “Personality and Security”. The Olympiad consisted of three stages – theoretical, creative and practical. Intellectual wrestling took place from April 3 to May 17 in a remote format.

On the eve of the entrance campaign of 2022, the head of the Department of Economics and Management Inna Babyna and Deputy Dean Natalya Shalupaeva held a career guidance meeting with applicants of the faculty planning to enroll in specialties with training in English.

Representatives of various countries, including Nigeria, Congo, Guinea, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco, Syria and China, showed interest in the faculty.

May 5-28 Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Training of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University co-organized the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “The place and role of physical culture in modern society” (Sevastopol, Russia).
