At 11.00 in the area of the bike path near the Sports Palace, more than 150 runners ran away to conquer their difficult distances. The championship was held in two disciplines: the marathon was 42 km 195 meters and the ultramarathon was 50 km.

On November 3, in Grodno (Korobchitsy), the best crossmen of our country performed for the prizes of the newspaper "Narodnaya Gazeta" at the Championships and Championships of the Republic of Belarus in track and field cross-country. It is especially joyful to note that Vladislav Tereshenok, a student of the Faculty of Physical Training of our university, who adequately represented the Gomel region, with a final result of 25:29, became the winner of the competition in running at a distance of 8 km (age division 1999-2001). 

From October 27 to 28, the II International Congress "Language Policy of the Commonwealth of Independent States" was held in Almaty. Organizers and partners of the Congress are Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo", Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, Kazakhstanian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, Russian house in Almaty.

Rector of the F. Skorina Gomel State University S.A. Khakhomov takes part in the Republican Board of Rectors with the participation of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus I.V. Karpenko. The event takes place on the basis of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The main topics for discussion were the ways of interaction between universities and the society "Knowledge", as well as the issues of the entrance campaign.

Within the framework of the signed cooperation agreement between the Russian International Academy of Tourism (Russian Federation) and the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University (Republic of Belarus) the acquaintance took place – the first event in the videoconference mode, at which the potential of both higher educational institutions was presented, as well as a lecture in English on the academic discipline "Theory of intercultural communication" was held.

The European Youth Boxing Championship (U-18), held from October 14 to 24, ended in Budva (Montenegro).
 223 athletes and 101 athletes from 38 countries of the continent competed for the awards of the European Youth Boxing Championship (U-18).

80 reports by 242 authors from 18 countries will be presented at the 19th International Conference on Global Research and Education Inter-Academia 2021. The program of the event, which is attended by 56 scientific organizations, provides for three days of online work.
