On September 14, the City Day was celebrated widely and festively in Gomel. Amidst a kaleidoscope of colors, bright costumes, and lively melodies, the exhibition of the Confucius Institute of our university, located on the banks of the Sozh River, stood out. It is worth noting that the staff of the Institute and the teachers of the Chinese language have accumulated significant experience in organizing similar city events, which is why the platform of the Confucius Institute was organized thoughtfully and creatively.

A delegation from the Institute of Entrepreneurship at the Inner Mongolia University, led by Rector Bao Guankai, visited Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The Institute is located in Huh Hot, a sister city of Gomel. During the visit, a meeting was held with the university's rector, Sergey Khakhomov. A cooperation agreement was signed, outlining the implementation of joint educational and research projects, as well as the exchange of students and faculty.

On May 22, a delegation from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, led by Sergey Khakhomov, is participating in the Second Forum of the Belarusian-Chinese University Association held at Dalian Polytechnic University (Dalian, China). The forum was opened by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Andrey Ivanets and the Deputy Minister of Education of People’s Republic of China Chen Jie. During the plenary session of the forum, a ceremony was held to establish cluster mechanisms.

The Educational Bridge between Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and Heze: Prospects of joint program

Rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Sergey Khakhomov visited Heze University (Heze, China). Since 2022, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University and the Chinese partner university have been implementing a joint educational program specializing in Physics. Currently, 188 Chinese citizens are studying this program. Students spend the first three years studying in China, and in the fourth year they come to Gomel.
