The international internship JEMS-24 at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) was enriching and informative for all participants. The program brought together leaders and researchers from various universities and scientific institutes, allowing for an exchange of experience and insights into best practices in the field of nuclear research.
The repository of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University has improved its position in the world ranking of repositories Transparent Ranking of Repositories from the 16th edition for March 2024.
In the general list (all repositories), including 4116 repositories, electronic archives, electronic libraries, the Francisk Skorina State University repository rose to 148th place, in the list of institutional repositories - to 136th place among 3994 other resources.
On February 22, 2024, a festive concert dedicated to the most beloved holiday of the Chinese people – the Lunar New Year, was held in the university hall.

On December 13, 2023, students from the People's Republic of China, studying in the field of Business Administration as part of an experimental project, familiarized themselves with one of the leading enterprises in the food industry in the region – OJSC "Gomel Distillery Radamir" in Gomel, Belarus. This was the first of a series of planned visits. The purpose of such excursions is to acquaint students from China with the industrial potential of Gomel and the Gomel region.
A working meeting between the rector of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Sergey Khakhomov, and the rector of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Fu Menin, took place in Beijing. During the meeting, the leaders of the partner universities signed an agreement on joint training of highly qualified scientific personnel.
