Student of GSU at WorldSkills Kazan 2019

WORLDSKILLS INTERNATIONAL is an international non-profit movement, organizing the International Championship of Professional Excellence every other year to raise the status of vocational education and training standards and qualifications across the globe. This year the Championship will gather more than  1500 participants from 63 countries. 40 participants will represent Belarus, one of them is Alexander Kovalyov, student of the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, who won the national challenge contest. 

Within the past year Alexander passed an intensive training in his competence “network and system administration” including two international traineeships at Saudi Arabia in Finland under the guidance of his academic advisor – Andrei Voruyev, associate professor of the Department of the Automated Systems of Data Processing.  

The team of the Faculty of Physics and Information Technologies was followed by the parting words of the Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Igor Petrishenko and the Minister of education of the Republic of Belarus Igor Karpenko.
