Diploma winners of the International creative essay Contest "The power of thought – the power of words"

In November 2021, an international creative essay contest "The Power of Thought – the Power of Words" was held on the basis of Pyatigorsk State University, which was organized within the framework of the project "The Russian language conquers the world space". What is the power of language and the power of the word? What gives a person knowledge of foreign languages? Why do many people in the modern world learn Russian? The contestants discussed these and other problems about language as a phenomenon, about foreign languages and about the Russian language in their essays.

The creative event of an educational nature was attended by foreign students of universities in Russia and countries of the near and far abroad: Greece, China, Vietnam, Italy, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia. The competitive works of students of our university: Li Mincze (Faculty of Foreign Languages, graduate of the Preparatory Department of the Institute of Additional Education in 2021), Chen Lan (Faculty of Philology, 4th year), Kalombo Silasa (Faculty of Economics, graduate of the Preparatory Department of the Institute of Additional Education in 2021) were highly appreciated and awarded with diplomas of the first degree.

In a solemn atmosphere, the first vice-rector of GSU A.V.Kruk congratulated the students and presented them with diplomas. D.A. Khodanovich, Head of the Institute of Additional Education, received a commendation for active participation in the international creative competition addressed to the Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The creative director, Associate Professor Natalja Sivakova, was awarded gratitude for mentoring and training of participants.

The joy of joint creativity inspires, and the students expressed their willingness to continue to take part in such projects. We would like to wish the winners of the contest new achievements and great success in learning the Russian language and Russian culture!
