On May 10, Chinese language instructors from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, along with Chinese graduate and master's students, took part in a tour of the Dudutki Museum Complex of Ancient Folk Crafts and Technologies. The event was organized by the Confucius Institute at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University.

The event was timed to coincide with the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Guests not only learned about the rich history and culture of Belarus but also immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere commemorating the great shared heroism. On the museum grounds, they participated in themed activities, including shooting real weapons, tasting soldier's cuisine, singing wartime songs accompanied by the accordion, and other interactive programs.

Victory Day unites the peoples of the two countries: the Soviet and Chinese peoples fought against a common enemy in World War II, working together to bring victory closer and defend the right to peace and independence.

In addition to the patriotic program, the Chinese guests learned more about Belarusian traditions. They strolled through the complex, which features a variety of craft workshops—a pottery shop, a forge, straw-weaving, weaving, basket-making, felting, and woodworking workshops—visited the stables, rode in a horse-drawn carriage, and visited a bakery, a cheese factory, and other facilities. A tour of an ancient windmill, over 120 years old, was particularly impressive. Many purchased souvenirs.

The excursion left a deep impression on the participants and became a true immersion into the history of Belarus and the folk traditions of our country.
